Gentile People, This letter is an enthusiastic recommendation of the Culligan Water Conditioning of Watertown at 1401 Clark Street based on a customer relationship that started in 2005. My wife Barbara and I has just moved into town and purchased our present home. The existing water softener had not been used for some time and was not serviceable. I drove to the Culligan office which is a few blocks away and asked the receptionist to talk to someone about the needs of our new house. At that time the business was owned by a partnership of two local Watertown residents, and the Managing President came out and invited me into his office. Instead of a quick bang-bang “We have these units - and I think you should have this one”, he listened to the things I wanted to do in our home. After a few specific questions, he started by explaining the issues associated with water conditioning, demand cycles, regen options and a lot of technical stuff that I wanted to know. He put together a solution that has worked well for me and has completely met the needs of my house and my home office. I can take a HOT shower as long as I want, while at the same time, my wife can run as many loads of laundry as she needs, and we won’t run out of conditioned hot water! When we have guest or when I have engineering clients in my home office, my ice cubes sparkle crystal clear, and Bourbon and Branch water tastes great because of the Reverse Osmosis water system that feeds the refrigerator system. We also use RO water for cooking. It doesn’t get any better than this. When the local business partners retired and the new ownership took control, I stopped in and introduced myself. I am pleased to say that the same great service, accommodating maintenance staff, and fair pricing policies have carried forward. I am pleased to unconditionally recommend Culligan Water Conditioning of Watertown. James W. Romlein Sr. PE
